Wedding Highlight Editing

Turn wedding footage, vows and speeches into a 3–8 minute highlight film shaped around your studio’s brief.

A wedding highlight needs a clear story within a few minutes. VowFoundry edits 3–8 minute highlight films for wedding filmmakers, using your footage, vows, speeches and style references to guide the result.

Highlight editing starts from $149, with two revision rounds, complete Adobe Premiere project files and a 10-day turnaround after the project scope and all materials are confirmed.

Discuss your highlight edit

A story built from the wedding you filmed

The brief starts with what matters to the couple and your studio: the vows or speeches that carry the story, the key people, the moments to include and the tone of the film. Those choices guide the pacing, structure and audio mix.

Send examples of your own work and explain what to follow in each reference. A note such as “use longer natural-audio moments during the ceremony” is more useful than a reference link alone. Our guide to keeping your studio’s style when outsourcing explains how to make that brief clear.

What the Highlight service includes

  • A finished wedding highlight film of 3–8 minutes.
  • A story built around the available vows and speeches.
  • Cinematic pacing and an audio mix.
  • Two revision rounds.
  • Complete Adobe Premiere project files.
  • A standard turnaround of 10 days once scope and all materials are confirmed.

The final price depends on raw-footage volume and quality, resolution, camera count, deadline and editing requirements. We agree the scope, price and turnaround before starting. See the full pricing comparison for the other formats.

What to send with your footage

Include the planned film length, your style references, the intended output and the deadline. Identify the important ceremony, vow and speech recordings, especially when separate audio recorders were used. Flag any missing files or known source issues early.

Tell us which moments must be included and which material to leave out. If you have already selected music, share the selection and relevant usage information with the brief. Read how to prepare wedding footage for an editor before uploading the project.

Review the edit before paying

You receive a watermarked preview and can submit feedback during the included revision rounds. No upfront payment is required. Once you are happy with the result and approve it, you pay and receive the clean exports and included Premiere project files.

Highlight editing questions

Should I choose Highlight or Film?

Choose Highlight when the deliverable is a 3–8 minute story. Choose Film when you need a 20–60 minute wedding film with longer ceremony and speeches coverage. Our format comparison helps you decide what to request.

Can I order a teaser as well?

Yes. The Teaser is a separate 30–60 second deliverable. Tell us which versions you need so both the quote and delivery plan cover them.

Can you edit from imperfect source footage?

We optimize the available footage where reasonably possible. Source quality affects the result, and we flag significant issues before work begins. Include a note about focus, exposure, missing audio or other known problems with the materials.

Does the 10-day timeline start when I first contact you?

The timeline starts after the project scope and all materials are confirmed. Share any fixed client deadline at the start so we can confirm the schedule with you.
